Big StumbleUpon Traffic

Previous post:

Over the last 2 days I’ve received about an extra 300 – 500 uniques from StumbleUpon.

Not from submitting myself, maybe some people must of stumbled some of my articles.

StumbleUpon really can be a very decent traffic source if used correctly.

Read my StumbleUpon Case Study here

Edit:

Wow. StumbleUpon traffic just keeps on coming, it’s been going up by the hundreds so far.

I’ve had about an extra 500 uniques today alone from it.

that is fantastic! What is the plugin you are using for the social networking links at the bottom of each post? I cant seem to find a good one.

About the plugin; That’s not a plugin man it’s just a custom made bar with linked images.

I have been experiencing some Stumbled Upon traffic as well but not as much as yours, I am getting about 200 yesterday and dropped right back to 120 today.

I want to find some plugins for those social bookmarking buttons for my blog as well.

That’s great. I use Sociable for the links at the bottom of posts, but I like the one you’ve got here more.

“I’ve received about an extra 300 – 500 uniques from StumbleUpon.”

That’s pretty much amount of extra there.

    Nice work.
I recently converted my crappy news script into a fully fledged blog, with an RSS feed and everything. I figured since I had a news feed, THEN coded a blog for a different purpose, I may as well convert the news script into something a bit better.
So anyway, what I did was add “share” buttons to the bottom of EACH news/blog post as well as at the bottom of each page – I’d recommend you doing that too, since you have to scroll down to the bottom to reach the buttons at the moment. Example here: http://www.coffeesh0p.com/news/
Feel free to steal my PermaLink code as well, if you like. :)
