I figured since I had a news feed, THEN coded a blog for a different purpose, I may as well convert the news script into something a bit better. So anyway, what I did was add "share" buttons to the bottom of EACH news/blog post as well as at the bottom of each page - I'd recommend you doing that too, since you have to scroll down to the bottom to reach the buttons at the moment.
