Resources
Below are some good resources for various things, which have helped me and which I recommend.
SEO – Aaron Wall’s SEO Book
A great ebook from an SEO expert. I recommend you buy this ebook, it will help you tremendously if you are abit lackluster in the SEO department.
General domain evaluation – iWeb Tools
this is a nice little resource for checking backlinks, pagerank, link popularity etc
Domain name value – DNScoop
Great site for checking the value of a domain name. The evaluation is done by checking the main attributes of a domain – backlinks, link popularity, pagerank and general mention of the domain on the web. Not sure how ‘accurate’ it is, but it gives you a nice estimate and is a good starting point if you’re looking to sell a domain and not sure how much to sell for.
Image hosting – Imageshack
Obviously a well known image hosting site, but if you haven’t used it before it’s a nice quick image upload solution if you don’t have your own server or if you don’t want to host an image on your server. For any reason.
Web hosting – ICDSoft
One of the best hosting services around. Highly recommended – trustworthy, efficient. Great service.
Domain purchase – Namecheap
I’ve always used Namecheap for buying my domain names. They are quick, easy, cheap and reliable. I’ve never had a problem with these and they are a great service.
Think and Grow Rich – Order here
A classic motivational book about making money and how to gain the right mindset whilst doing it. First published in 1937. Now available as an Audiobook, which I have. It’s brilliant. I urge you to listen to this if you are a serious entrepreneur!
