I really agree, I greatly dislike the exclamation mark.

Instead of looking for a reason to use one, I feel you should always look for a reason to avoid using one when writing articles.

exclamation mark means shouting? i thoguht it were capital letters…

I don’t see a problem using exclamation as long they don’t use it like 5 exclamations each line… that way the write would seem like a blond in front a shoe store looking at the latest products…
