Traffic and Subscribers After 2 Months
I’m into my third month with this blog now after September just finishing. I improved traffic a lot after the first month and subscribers are creeping up. Thanks a lot to all of you have subscribed so far and I hope you continue to read and enjoy my content.
So…
Traffic for first month – August 2007
Total uniques – 1,379
Total Hits – 24,900
Sources of traffic
Direct address / Bookmarks – 77.6 %
Search Engines (including social bookmark sites) – 4.8 %
Backlinks – 17.4 %
Traffic for second month – September 2007
Total uniques – 3,494
Total Hits – 107,077
Sources of traffic
Direct address / Bookmarks – 63.3 %
Search Engines (including social bookmark sites) – 12.5 %
Backlinks – 23.9 %
I actually surpassed my mental goal for traffic for September which I was pleased with. I set a mental target to get up to 3,000 uniques, effectively just over doubling the first month reach of 1,379.
As it passed 3,200 though I wanted to get it up to 3,500 uniques by the end of the month. Very close.. only 5 uniques off haha. Oh well, at least I reached and passed my first target, which I’m happy with, as long as you keep improving, that’s the main thing.
Subscribers
Ok, here’s a quick look at my subscriber base. It’s far from amazing after 2 months but I’m just happy it’s going up.
I’ve actually had the feed since about June / July as you can see but I only actually started on this blog and started blogging in August. So the current subscriber base is 22 with the peak so far at 27.
